Yoga classes develop strength, flexibility and calm

Classes are no longer being offered in Lexington.  Lynnae is relocating to Plymouth and will be offering classes there at a future date.

I wish to extend my deepest gratitude to everyone who attended my classes.  Yoga is an incredible path to health and fitness, mentally and spiritually.  Life holds many joys and challenges; yoga holds a way to stay free of the clutter that can cloud your life.  May yoga always be in your life.

Classes are small with much personal attention.

            • Proper alignment is carefully explored as poses are learned.  Props, such as chairs, blocks, or blankets are used so that each pose is experienced no matter what your degree of flexibility or restriction.
            • Particular care is taken with people who have challenges in areas of their bodies such as knees and backs.  Yoga is very safe when taught properly!

 

Our classes are perfect for beginner students of yoga as well as those with more experience
A typical class with Lynnae would go like this:
  • A beginning relaxation period to help you drop the concerns of your day
  • A warm up with standing poses which develop flexibility, strength and confidence
  • Further poses with a theme such as opening the shoulders or stretching the legs
    Yoga is thousands of years old but a perfect antidote for today's stressful lifestyles
  • Cooling down with more passive poses
  • Finishing with Savasana, or corpse pose, which allows students to completely relax and let the changes they have taught their bodies to become deeply learned

 

Students generally leave class feeling invigorated, relaxed and peaceful.
